What is the best object storage for DVR purposes? I building a cluster of Flussonic origin hosts and want record all DVR data in centralized system e.g. swift or s3. Please share your experience and best practices.
You can use swift on your own server and you can use Amazon S3 as a hosted service — it is a decision of service vs software.
We support both and both object storages will have to work with large amount of stored keys.
There is an option to use copy DVR option to upload big files once per hour to object storage, it may reduce load.
