H265 IP camera playback

Hi everybody,

I’ve about 100 IP cameras that are already connected to Flussonic Watcher. At the moment I’m using H264 and wanna switch to H265 to save some disk space, but when I’m trying to do it, I can’t play them via Browser.

Any idea how to avoid it?

Every modern browser doesn’t support HEVC(h265) except Apple Safari.

So, there is two solutions:

  1. use mobile/tablet application to playback your Lives and DVR (Flussonic Watcher mobile app support it! iOS, Android)
  2. use Safari on desktop
